2026: Six Degrees Week
Since starting in 2013 with Sharon Van Etten, KEXP's Six Degrees has been an annual spotlight of how our DJs program on the fly, relying on their vast music knowledge and thinking on their feet to come up with the next song. Connections can include anything from guest vocals, shared musicians, same producers, and more. None of these connections have been pre-planned.
Get ready for Six Degrees Week!
From the Continent on Friday, March 20th through Drive Time on Friday, March 27th, KEXP DJs will link every song to the one that came before it, with each show highlighting an artist of the DJ’s choice. It’s one continuous mix, 24 hours a day, with connections like guest vocals, shared musicians, samples, and more, for a full week of totally on the fly playlists. Feel the power of human curated, listener powered radio on Six Degrees Week!
And if you miss any of it, not to worry — you can catch it streaming on the archive for two weeks.
