For her first in-studio session for KEXP, Lady Wray brought a stacked set of songs off her years-in-the-making 2022 record Piece of Me. Produced by Leon Michels of El Michels Affair, the album is a brilliant blend of soul, R&B and hip hop and just the latest release in her long and winding career. In this episode, Lady Wray also reveals to Cheryl Waters the primary source of musical inspiration: family.
