JD Samson is a Brooklyn-based DJ, singer, and producer who has been at the forefront of music, art, activism, and fashion for nearly two decades. She's best known as one-third of the electronic-feminist-punk band Le Tigre, and she's also the leader of the band MEN, an art/performance collective that focuses on the energy of live performance and the radical potential of dance music. Throughout her career, JD has focused on creating spaces for rad people to dance and smile and hold each other.
