Two years ago today, KEXP opened the doors to our new home in Seattle Center. To commemorate the occasion, we welcomed the community to come check out our space, take tours of the new studio, and – of course – featured performances from KEXP favorites including a stirring set from the late Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings and fiery performances from Strand of Oaks, Bob Mould, Grace LoveDeep Sea Diver, Sera CahooneHey Marseilles, Mark Pickerel, and more. As we celebrate this momentous occasion in our station’s history, let’s revisit some of the videos from the first sessions recorded in our space. Thanks to all our listeners, donors, and friends for making the last two years so incredible. We can’t wait to play you more music from this building for years to come.
