It's the moment we've all been waiting for: this Saturday, April 16th, KEXP will throw open the doors to the KEXP New Home with a free, all-ages celebration from Noon until 9:00 PM. Come see the station you helped build! There will be tours, food, beer, and, of course, what matters most: music.
KEXP prides ourselves on being the station where the local music matters, so what better way to kick off Saturday's celebration than with a few of our favorite Seattle musicians? Starting at Noon in the Gathering Space, Grace Love, Sera Cahoone, Mark Pickerel, DoNormaal, and David Bazan will each take the stage for a short solo performance. From up-and-comers to beloved veterans of the scene, from rap to folk to soul, these artists help reflect what KEXP is all about. April 10th through April 16th is National Volunteer Week, and KEXP would be nothing without the support of our amazing volunteers!
