  • Tons of great new albums are hitting the racks today, and you can stream most of them online, too: Pixies, Solange, Danny Brown, Nicolas Jaar, just to name a few. And, Bon Iver offers his latest, 22, A Million, for online stream, and includes this bonus video for the track "715 - CR∑∑KS." Watch below. [Under the Radar]

  • Grunge is definitely getting a second wind as many of those iconic albums celebrate their 25th anniversary this year. Nevermind, obvs, but also Badmotorfinger, reissue out in November, and, as we mentioned previously, Temple of the Dog's self-titled debut. As part of the nostalgia wave, Stereogum has an interview with Paul Rachman, the director of the "Hunger Strike" music video, and it's a must-read. He talks about Seattle's crazy weather, filming in Discovery Park, how "Pearl Jam" was still "Mookie Blaylock" at the time, and lots more. Read it, and then re-watch the clip below. (Who doesn't love that scene around 2:29 with all the guys head-banging on the beach with unplugged electric guitars?) [Stereogum]

  • For a supergroup of a different color, we turn to Sweden where popstars Lykke Li, Andrew Wyatt and Pontus Winnberg of Miike Snow, and Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John have formed the group LIV. Check out their debut single "Wings of Love" below. You may recall, these musicians formed the label INGRID back in 2012. Apparently, they really like ladies' names written in all-caps. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Seattle's Car Seat Headrest are in the middle of a pretty intense cross-country tour. While in Minneapolis last night, the guys rolled out a piano-driven take on the track "Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales," which you can stream below. You can find the original version on their latest, Teens of Denial, out now on Matador Records. [Spin]
