Get Off - Tres Leches (MP3)Seattle's Alaia D'alessandro, Zander Yates, and Ulises Mariscal founded Tres Leches in 2014. The self-described “art punk” trio put out their first EP last month, reaching #3 on KEXP's Northwest Music Charts. The EP's first single, today's Song of the Day, is a playful, catchy and poppy track evocative of Dressy Bessy or even CSS. The video for "Get Off" is equally light-hearted and rambunctious, and appropriately rough around the edges.
Tres Leches have recently been gaining momentum in the Seattle live music scene with shows at Blue Moon and Lo-Fi, as well as Central Saloon, where their EP release was hosted by Stay Happy Collective. They’ve also played local festivals Melt and Independence Fest alongside popular local artists DoNormaal and Raven Matthews.
