  • Bob Mould shares a look at life on the road in the music video for his track "The War." (Keep an eye out for a surprising cameo towards the end.) Bob and his boys stop by The Neptune Theatre on Tuesday, September 23rd in support of his most recent release, Beauty & Ruin, out now on Merge Records. And in tribute to the late Joan Rivers, check out a clip of Bob's old band Hüsker Dü on The Late Show With Joan Rivers back in 1987. [Stereogum]

  • Conor Oberst shares a new video today for the track "Common Knowledge," off his latest Upside Down Mountain. The moody black-and-white clip complements the first video he released from the album for "Zigzagging Toward the Light." Check it out below. KEXP presents Conor's Seattle show on September 30th at the Showbox at the Market. [Pitchfork]

  • We've been sharing tracks as we've gotten them, and now we have the entire new album from Yeah Yeah Yeah's frontwoman Karen O to share. Her debut full-length, Crush Songs, is every bit as lovely as its preceding singles hinted at. The album officially comes out September 9th via Julian Casablancas’ label Cult Records. [Spin]

  • Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche will release his ninth album, Please, on September 23. His newest track "Sentimentalist" is a real, melancholy look at a failed relationship. Don't miss Lerche performing live at the Nectar Lounge on October 12. [CMJ]
