Director Nickolas Rossi describes the film as "an intimate, meditative inquiry into the life and music of Elliott Smith." Titled Heaven Adores You, the film features unreleased songs and rare footage, in addition to interviews with Smith’s friends and family. Watch an early trailer below. Today, we have news that their doors will open to the public on May 1st, featuring "a variety of Sub Pop-related merchandise including music, apparel, books, special travel items, art and more." Check out an artist's rendering of the store at the link. [Spin]
