  • Thom Yorke, of Radiohead and Atoms of Peace, and producer Nigel Godrich recently delivered a two-hour song set for Radio 1's Essential Mix. The mix also includes a new, unreleased Radiohead song called "Harmonics Loop". You can stream the entire mix HERE, but lucky for us, one YouTube user pulled the new song for easy access. [SPIN]

  • Reggae fusion music project Major Lazer has enlisted the talent of Ezra Koenig for their new single "Jessica". The Vampire Weekend frontman tries out an impressive falsetto and a slightly hilarious Jamaican accent. Both Vampire Weekend and Major Lazer will be at SXSW this week. If you happen to be in Austin, there is a very good chance you may hear this one live. [Stereogum]

  • Two years after the release of his debut album, producer Hyetal will release his second venture, Modern Worship, in May. His single "Northwest Passage" has bewitching instrumentals that take the listener on a brief yet captivating sojourn. With dreamily delivered vocals by Gwilym Gold, maybe this will be the song that gets Hyetal the mainstream success he deserves. [Stereogum]

  • I'm not one to hang around garbage dumps and Wavves' video for "Demon to Lean On" serves as the perfect example for why. A young boy happens to stumble upon a junkyard shanty town and his journey to acceptance goes from there. For those who enjoy watching children chow down on mystery meat, this is the video for you!
