For Swiss electro artist and producer La colère (the French word for "anger"), music goes all the way back to childhood.
"I started expressing myself with rhythm and sound before I could speak. I've been learning different kinds of musical styles since I'm five 5 years old. At that point it just happened as I was tired of learning other people's songs and wanted to practise mine. Around four years ago I got immersed into electro through a solo project. My first concert in 2017 was a culmination point which materialised my desire to share my music," she said last year in an interview with Sneeer streetwear.
Her 2018 self-released EP Surface won the Demotape Clinic Award at the M4music festival in Zurich, leading to airplay on Swiss radio and appearances at European music festivals like European festivals like Street Parade (CH), Reeperbahn Festival (DE), and Sudwave (IT). Her debut LP La Vague came out earlier this year, building on her downtempo sound, infusing influences of hip-hop and jazz.
