It was all so lovely
It wasn't all bad
Was it now, looking back?
Lady Lamb (real name: Aly Spaltro) reflects on her younger days growing up in The Copper State in this languid, lovely new single.
"I'm a Mainer at heart, but I spent a lot of my childhood in the Southwest and Arizona, so when I come back there I feel very comfortable there," Spaltro said in a 2015 interview with the Phoenix New Times. "I just remember loving the warmth and the cactuses in the desert and just being a happy little kid, running around, playing outside."
No word yet on a new album, but Lady Lamb is currently in the middle of a European tour and is adding a string section for a small North American tour of City Winery locations in March. See complete tour dates below.
