As the sole local artist to land in the top ten of KEXP Listeners' Top 90.3 Albums of 2019, local multi-media artist Rudy Willingham has captured hearts with his creative use of clips and mixes, making him a perfect match for long-running Seattle band Smokey Brights, who released their latest EP Different Windows late last year via Freakout Records. While the single "Flash Your Lights" already had a '80s-tinged electro-pop swagger, Willingham takes it to another level, making it a disco-fied dancefloor banger.
