As the sole local artist to land in the top ten of KEXP Listeners' Top 90.3 Albums of 2019, local multi-media artist Rudy Willingham has captured hearts with his creative use of clips and mixes, making him a perfect match for long-running Seattle band Smokey Brights, who released their latest EP Different Windows late last year via Freakout Records. While the single "Flash Your Lights" already had a '80s-tinged electro-pop swagger, Willingham takes it to another level, making it a disco-fied dancefloor banger.
Smokey Brights are playing March 25th at the annual Treefort Music Fest in Boise, Idaho. Check out the remixed version of the track below, followed by the band's 2018 KEXP in-studio rendition.
