Seattle’s Wimps (Rachel Ratner, Matt Nyce, and David Ramm) are releasing their third album, Garbage People, on July 13th via Kill Rock Stars. The album's title track is a catchy, minimalist rock song with an earworm of a hook, Kill Rock Stars describes the new album, saying: "On Garbage People, Wimps have successfully filtered the best parts of 70’s Rough Trade, the International Pop Underground 7” series, Devo, The B-52s, the Breeders, etc. into a unique and timeless sound that appeals to playlist streaming teens AND adults who own over 500 records." Wimps will perform at this year's Bumbershoot festival, taking place August 31 - September 2 at Seattle Center.
