Philly indie-punk trio Thin Lips released their sophomore album, Chosen Family, in late July via Lame-O Records. Our Song of the Day, “Gaslight Anthem (The Song Not The Band)” was a punchy early single of the record. The track features backing vocals from Hop Along’s Frances Quinlan, Modern Baseball’s Brendan Lukens, and Kississippi’s Zoe Reynolds to create an anthemic riffer.
