somesurprises is a dreamy shoegaze pop band from Seattle, featuring the songwriting and mesmerizing vocals of Natasha El-Sergany. Together with Josh Medina she makes a wash of glorious noise using synths and guitars, held together and driven forward by the relentless rhythm section — for this live session it was Laura Seniow on bass, and Benjamin Thomas Kennedy on drums. Her latest album is Perseids available on Doom Trip Records.

Recorded 04/22/2024.
