On the show this time, with a new release under his own name - it’s Wolf Parade’s Dan Boeckner. Dan Boeckner is of course, one of the frontmen of the band Wolf Parade. He has been in a few other bands too - including Atlas Strategic, Operators, Divine Fits, and the Handsome Furs. He’s a solid hard-rockin' guitarist, with a penchant for finding a killer turn of phrase, and then delivering it in his own quirky style, with his unmistakable voice. His new album is “Boeckner!” available on Sub Pop Records.
