International Clash Day 2024

International Clash Day returns on Wednesday, February 7th.

The Clash's "Magnificent Seven" includes the refrain "Don't Stop, Give it All You Got" — and we want to know what keeps you going: What big OR small thing are you doing to make our world a little better, and how does music help? Send an email to stories@kexp.org to let us know.

And then listen along from 5 AM to 7 PM PT on 90.3 KEXP, KEXP.org, and the KEXP App. And follow KEXP socials for even more stories about the Clash, the artists and movements that inspired them as well as who they inspired.

International Clash Day LIVE

Later that evening, join us in celebrating International Clash Day LIVE in the Gathering Space!

DJs Kevin Cole and Kid Hops will transition the all-day International Clash Day programming on-air to the Gathering Space for International Clash Day Live! Smokey Brights will perform a live set of Clash covers and originals and there will be a bar! Join us for a feel-good event celebrating the insightful messages from The Clash’s musical repertoire and those inspired by them. There will be a bar that benefits KEXP so attendees must be 21 years old or older to attend this one!

Something special will also be happening: Shared Medium will be on site with the newly released (it is set to be released on February 7, 2024) compilation album, Hearts & Minds & Crooked Beats. This compilation album invites bands and visual artists to create work inspired by The Clash and celebrate their music and human rights message. Proceeds from this album will go to the International Rescue Committee’s global fund, supporting their work in responding to humanitarian crises and helping impacted individuals rebuild their lives.
