Our VIP Insider Series is one of the most popular and fun benefits of joining a KEXP VIP Club.
At VIP Insider Series events, donors have the opportunity to get to know each other, engage in exclusive conversations with KEXP DJs and staff, go behind-the-scenes at the station, and experience special performances by KEXP artists. These events are offered in a mix of remote and in-person.

Concerts in recent years have included Arlo Parks, Bomba Estereo, Altin Gün, The Black Tones, MorMor, and Camp Cope. We are currently back to in-person concerts.
Album Clubs - During Album Clubs, KEXP DJs will pick an old or new favorite album and deep dive into it with you and other passionate KEXP VIP donors. With insights about the music, mixing, and the artists, as well as rich discussion with your favorite DJs & fellow music-loving donors, you can look forward to loads of easter eggs that only KEXP can provide. Past Album Clubs focused on Rosalia’s MOTOMAMI, Screaming Trees’ Sweet Oblivion, The Avalanches’ We Will Always Love You, and Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On.

"Basement tours" with DJs Troy and Kevin who shared an exclusive peek at their deep, personal collections of records and music treasures.
“Inside ‘Live on KEXP’” - DJ Cheryl Waters and her Midday Show producer took our VIP donors through a deep dive into the history of KEXP in-studio sessions, and offered a behind the scenes look at their process for booking and working with artists.

How to register for a VIP Insider Series event:
Once you've joined a VIP Club, you will receive invites to the Insider Series via email. Events sometimes require capacity limitations, so we've constructed a process for ensuring everyone receives advanced notice when an event is scheduled.
VIP Insider Series events are scheduled on a rolling-basis, throughout the year. You will receive a pre-invite two weeks prior to the VIP Insider Series event. The pre-invite announces any event details including date, time, location and artist if it's a performance. Also included is the date when the official invitation will be sent. Make sure to mark your calendar for the official invite – that’s how you’ll RSVP!
You will then receive the official invitation. RSVP for yourself and a guest! These events can sometimes fill up quickly, so RSVP as soon as possible. If the event has reached capacity, you can join the wait list.
Attend the event! Have fun seeing a band or DJ you already love (or discover a new one) and mingle with your fellow KEXP VIP Club music lovers.
As a 500 Club donor you will receive four invitations for you and a guest per year and as a Gold Club or Platinum Club donor you will receive eight invitations for you and a guest per year.
