Astrid Engberg is a Danish singer, producer, composer, and DJ who creates lush, soulful, exploratory music that exists at a beautiful intersection between R&B and jazz. Released back in September 2023, her second full-length Trust was written just a handful of months after the birth of her first child and the record finds inspiration in intuition, with Astrid following her instincts towards a warm, classic, orchestral sound while also receiving guest contributions from local Nordic talent as well as prolific LA-based composer Miguel Atwood-Ferguson.
In regards to her dreamy guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World full of warm jazz and blissful R&B tracks, Astrid says this is "a mix of lil gems that uplift the spirit, move the body or touch a deep place in my soul, plus some unreleased tracks. Soul food served for the hungry."
