Los Angeles native DJ Nu-Mark is a legendary DJ, turntablist, and producer, well-known for being a member of the beloved hip-hop group Jurassic 5. A tireless creative spirit, DJ Nu-Mark has been immersed in the music scene since the mid-1990s, and he continues to juggle beats and various hats nearly 30 years later. Outside of his numerous collaborative projects, he's also the founder of Hot Plate Records, a label that has been home to his own productions for the past decade. Late last year he released his latest solo album Run For Cover, a joyful collection of supremely funky covers tackling iconic hits from the 1990s and early 2000s.
