Boys Noize is the alias of Berlin-based German-Iraqi electronic producer and DJ Alex Ridha. He's been an integral force on the electronic music scene for nearly two decades now. Alex introduced the Boys Noize project in 2004, quickly established his own label Boysnoize Records in 2005, and released his breakthrough debut album Oi Oi Oi in 2007 that served as a showcase for his distinctively gritty, visceral, and distortion-heavy take on electro, techno, house, hip-hop, and pop. He's worked with an exceptionally wide variety of artists throughout his career as an in-demand collaborator and remixer, teaming up with artists such as Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg, David Lynch, Skrillex, BIGBANG, Hudson Mohawke, and the late Virgil Abloh. This past September, Boys Noize released his 5th full-length studio album Polarity featuring guest appearances from Kelsey Lu, Rico Nasty, Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters, Chilly Gonzales, Corbin, and more.
