Born in the Bay Area with roots in Seattle, Hollis is a singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. The lead singer of Seattle trio The Flavr Blue, Hollis released her solo EP half-life in February 2020. She most recently released “Grace Lee,” a song honoring Chinese-American activist and philosopher Grace Lee Boggs, and she’s currently at work on her debut solo LP to be released in Fall 2021.
Curated by Hollis, mixed by DJ Hauskaat, and shared to close out KEXP's PRIDE 2021 focused weekend programming, Hollis calls her mix 'FEMME FWD.'
