Portland duo Pure Bathing Culture are releasing their first album in four years, Night Pass, next month via Infinite Companion. Today, they’ve unveiled the second single off the album, “Ad Victoriam,” a gauzy synth-filled groover straight from the ‘80s. As a YouTube commenter on the video for the song succinctly puts it, "Summer has arrived." Couldn't have said it better myself! The song follows last month’s “Devotion.”

Night Pass is Pure Bathing Culture’s third studio album, following 2015’s Pray For Rain. Legendary producer Tucker Martine manned production of the record. The band will be touring behind the album this summer, opening for Brooklyn indie-pop band Lucius for the first half and Midwest emo outfit American Football for the second. They'll play Seattle on their own though, on Friday, May 31 at the Columbia City Theatre.
