London-based producer and DJ Max Cooper has forged a unique path in the electronic music community since his debut EP came out back in 2007. His extensive output has long revealed his masterful production techniques, while sonically exploring both propulsive techno rhythms and cinematic ambient passages. His new album Yearning For The Infinite just came out in early November on his own label Mesh Records, and adds another immersive audio-visual experience into his growing catalog. His exclusive guest DJ mix for Midnight in a Perfect World is a wonderful showcase of his enveloping aesthetic as he pieces together richly-textured techno, meditative ambient soundscapes, and kinetic electro beats for a thoroughly hypnotic and cohesive sonic journey.
