Seattle rockers Thunderpussy share a new single today from their just-released EP Milk It, out today via Stardog/Republic. The track "Powerhouse" features guest drumming from Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and draws its inspiration from the mom of frontwoman Molly Sides.

"It is an ode, an anthem to those who have been dealt a difficult hand in life but continue to persevere and push through," she says via a press release. "It’s a reminder that there are no limits, no boundaries for the strength and resilience of the feminine spirit. A spirit, a superpower that lives within us all. Pussy is Power."

The band also just announced a hometown New Year's Eve show at The Showbox. Tickets for this 21+ show are on sale now.
