Donald Glover has unveiled a new star-studded Childish Gambino video for the song “Feels Like Summer.” Released in July, the song was one of two summer-themed songs along with “Summertime Magic.” The cartoon video, is directed by Glover, Ivan Dixon and Greg Sharp with character design by Justin Richburg and stars a whole slew of hip hop and political figures.

Set in a suburban neighborhood while a cartoon Gambino is walking down the street we see appearances by Lil Pump and Trippie Redd, 21 Savage and Metro Boomin shooing them away from their car, Kodak Black stuck in his house, Migos playing basketball, Birdman grilling, Chance the Rapper and Jaden Smith playing together, Will Smith washing his car, Azealia Banks in a tree, and Nicki Minaj and Travi$ Scott fighting over a game of blocks.

The Weeknd, Ty Dolla $ign, and Frank Ocean play tug of war against A$AP Rocky, Solange, and Willow Smith. Soulja Boy tells stories to Lil Pump and Trippie Redd. Future steals Drake’s bike. Kid Cudi’s sad and Kanye West (donned in a MAGA hat) is too but Michelle Obama is there to comfort him. Beyoncé wears a “RIP Fredo Santana” shirt and Florida politician Andrew Gillum eats ice cream on a bench. Some say the melting ice cream refers to deceased rapper XXXTENTACION.

Oprah Winfrey braids Lil Uzi Vert’s hair while Tiffany Haddish braids Kehlani’s. Lil Yachty eats popsicles with Charlamagne. Gucci Mane takes an outdoor nap while Dr. Dre, Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and Jay-Z do the electric slide around him. Meek Mill poses for a picture with Pusha T and Lil Wayne as 2 Chainz composes the shot. Rae Sremmurd shoot water guns at J. Cole, watering his lawn. SZA and Janelle Monae ride by on skateboards.

The ending montage features Chris Brown, Outkast, Rihanna, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson, all in their younger years. “Feels Like Summer” is said to be a commentary about global warming and follows May’s politically-charged breakthrough song “This Is America.”
