Interpol have announced their sixth studio album, Marauder, which will drop August 24 via Matador Records. To announce the record, the trio held a live-streamed press conference Mexico City’s General Prim 30 this morning. They’ve also shared the first single off the LP, “The Rover,” alongside the Marauder tracklist and cover art, which features a photo by Garry Winogrand of 1973 U.S. Attorney General Elliot Richardson, as well as upcoming tour dates. Interpol’s last album was 2014’s El Pintor. [ Pitchfork ]

Gorillaz recently announced a new album titled The Now Now, which comes only a year after their last full-length, Humanz. Today, they’ve shared the third single from the album, “Sorcererz.” The short, groovy track follows “Lake Zurich” and the George Benson-featuring “Humility.” The Now Now is out June 29 on Warner Bros. Last night, Neko Case stopped by Conan to perform “Bad Luck” off of her latest album, Hell-On. The album is Case’s first solo record in five years, following 2013's The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You. “Bad Luck” was inspired by a terrible incident where her house burned down while she was in Europe recording Hell-On. She says of the situation: "If somebody burned your house down on purpose, you'd feel so violated. But when nature burns your house down, you can't take it personally." [ Under the Radar ]

Barcelona quartet Mourn are releasing their sophomore album, Sorpresa Familia, next week. Today, they’ve shared the third single off the album, “Doing It Right,” which follows “Barcelona City Tour” and “Fun at the Geysers.” The band says of “Doing It Right”: “The song includes quotes from real emails sent to us and people working with us. We decided to take the craziest ones and transform them into a song. We also took things said to us in person and wrote them down to help form the story we lived. At that time we were going through a lot of bullshit and we needed to take it out in the least destructive way possible. And that is writing a song about it.” Sorpresa Familia is out June 15 on Captured Tracks. Mourn plays Barboza on Tuesday, July 31. [ Consequence of Sound ]
