Scottish synth-pop trio Chvrches stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night to play “Miracle,” from their forthcoming third album, Love Is Dead. Wearing bold, glittery eye makeup and a tulle dress, frontwoman Lauren Mayberry gave a commanding performance of the song amid a bed of fog. Love Is Dead is said to be a poppier direction for the band, with production from hitmaker Greg Kurstin. The album follows 2015’s Every Open Eye and will be out May 25 via Glassnote. Chvrches will make a stop in Seattle on Saturday, September 29 to play the Paramount. [ Consequence of Sound ]

Chromatics are finally releasing their long-awaited album Dear Tommy this fall. It would be understandable not to trust them on this since the album was originally announced in 2014 and teased multiple times since then, but they’ve also released a new single from it called “Black Walls,” lending credence to the possibility. The signaturely slick song comes with a self-directed video. Last year, it was reported that Johnny Jewel destroyed every physical copy of Dear Tommy following a near-death experience and had re-recorded it, so the singles previously released over the years (which were then taken off the internet) may not exist on the record in the same fashion or at all. We’ll just have to wait and see. [ Pitchfork ]

TDE-signed rapper Jay Rock has shared a new triumphant single called “Win,” which features ad-libs from labelmate Kendrick Lamar. While Lamar doesn’t have a full verse, he adds energy to the Boi-Ida produced song by hyping his collaborator up. The two previously teamed up for the track “King’s Dead” from the Black Panther soundtrack. The two are currently on tour together for The Championship Tour, along with SZA, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, SiR, and Lance Skiiiwalker. Jay Rock has an upcoming album slated for release at an unknown date titled Redemption. [ SPIN

Snail Mail, the solo project of musician Lindsey Jordan, has shared the third single from her forthcoming debut album, Lush. Titled “Let’s Find An Out,” the short, delicate song follows “Pristine” and “Heat Wave.” The feeling of Lush has previously been described as, “at times like an emotional rollercoaster, only fitting for Jordan's explosive, dynamic personality....Lush sounds cinematic, yet still perfectly homemade.” Lush is out June 8 via Matador. Snail Mail will take the Crocodile stage on Saturday, June 23. [ Under the Radar ]

Orlando duo SALES are releasing their highly-anticipated and currently untitled sophomore album this July. Today, they followed up February’s single “Off and On” with a new song called “White Jeans” (which is very difficult to Google along with the word “sales”). Lauren Morgan and Jordan Shih released their debut self-titled LP in 2016 and will be embarking on a hefty tour in August with a stop in Seattle on Saturday, August 25 to play Neumos with No Vacation.
