Today, English shoegaze legends Ride are releasing a new EP called Tomorrow's Shore. It follows up last year's Weather Diaries, their first album in 21 years. To promote the EP, the band has shared a video for lead single off Tomorrow's Shore, "Catch You Dreaming." The black & white video was directed by Niall Trask and features footage of the band playing the song in a warehouse interjected with old photos of the band. Laurence "Loz" Colbert, of the band said this about the video: "We wanted to call to mind our more humble origins and the first demo recording sessions we did together back in 1988. Some personal memorabilia from that time also features in the video including photos, sketches, posters, and even the original four-track we recorded our first demo on!" Tomorrow's Shore is out today via Wichita. Duluth, Minnesota indie band Low recently unveiled a cover of Al Green's 1971 hit "Let's Stay Together." The single was released for charity, with the proceeds going to the Duluth branch of the NAACP. The last full-length from Low was 2015's Ones and Sixes. [ Pitchfork ]

The Knife's Karin Dreijer released her first Fever Ray album in eight years this past fall called Plunge. Since then, she's continued to churn out a series of strange and chaotic videos for songs off the album. Today, we've received the video for "IDK About You" and it definitely follows suit. As with all the previous videos, it was directed by Martin Falck and features Dreijer in the same bald, corpse-like persona. This one features a group of costumed women who also happen to be Dreijer's touring band. KEXP is bringing Fever Ray to the Showbox on Monday, May 21. [ Consequence of Sound ]

St. Vincent has recently been sharing her pre-show warmup routines on her MASSEDUCTION tour and, apparently, they include a lot of covers. Previously, she shared her take on Sleater-Kinney's "Modern Girl," Stever Miller Band's "The Joker," and Meredith Brooks' "Bitch." Today, she posted on Instagram a haunting acoustic take on Pearl Jam's "Tremor Christ." Annie Clark has gushed about Pearl Jam many times, citing them as one of her main influences. Pearl Jam will be playing a series of home shows at Safeco Field on Wednesday, August 8 and Friday, August 10. KEXP has tickets to give away for the August 8 show, tune in for details! [ SPIN ]

The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. is gearing up to release a new solo album called Francis Trouble. Today, he's followed up lead single "Muted Beatings" with the song "Far Away Truths." Francis Trouble is said to have been inspired by the death of his stillborn twin brother Francis. While that may sound heavy, Hammond Jr. says of the album: "What the music says may be serious, but as a medium it should not be questioned, analyzed or taken too seriously," the Strokes member said in a statement. "I think it should be tarted up, made into a character, a parody of itself. The music is the mask the message wears and I, the performer, am the message." Catch Albert Hammond Jr. on Tuesday, April 10 at the Crocodile. [ Rolling Stone ]
