In 2019, The Magnetic Fields’ beloved three-volume concept album 69 Love Songs will turn 20 years old. In celebration, Pennsylvania label Living Statue Records has rounded up 69 artists to cover the album in full. Titled You Can Sing Me Anything: A Tribute to 69 Love Songs, the album features contributions from artists like Illuminati Hotties and Palehound. The former’s cover has been shared. The Los Angeles band chose to take on “The Way You Say Good-Night,” turning the orchestral original into a softened whisper.

Proceeds from the album will go towards No More Dysphoria, “a non-profit organization created with the goal of helping transgender individuals pay for major aspects of their transition.” You Can Sing Me Anything: A Tribute to 69 Love Songs is out Dec. 14. Listen to Illuminati Hotties’ version of “The Way You Say Good-Night” below. Pre-orders for Sing Me Anything are available now.
