Oliver Coates is a critically-acclaimed UK-based cellist, composer, and producer. He's been an artist in residency at London’s Southbank Centre, a performing member in the London Contemporary Orchestra, and a recipient of the Royal Philharmonic Society Young Artist Award. He's known for being an in-demand collaborator who's worked with a diverse range of high-profile artists, yet he's also been establishing himself as an solo electronic artist over the past five years. Earlier this year he released his third solo album titled Shelley's On Zenn-La on the excellent NYC label RVNG Intl. His guest mix is an intense, captivating, orchestral journey through experimental soundscapes, cerebral rhythms, spoken word enhancements, and symphonic delights.
