Aphex Twin has reworked two of his tracks off of 2001 double album Drukqs. The piano instrumental “Avril 14th” receives two different versions: “Avril 14th Reversed Music Not Audio (Re-Recorded 2009 Nagra)” and “Avril 14th Half Speed Alternative Version (Re-Recorded 2009 Nagra). Both are incredibly beautiful. On the other hand, his rework of “Mangle 11,” is a high-intensity, frantic piece titled "Mangle 11 [Circuit Bent V.I.P. Mix].” All three songs are available on Aphex Twin’s clever 8-bit themed website, where you can stream and purchase the songs.

The reworks follow Aphex Twin’s Collapse EP, released in September on Warp. While listening to the new songs, read a 2011 documentary profile KEXP did on Aphex Twin in partnership with the now-defunct Decibel Festival here.
