Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst has shared two new songs, “No One Changes” and “The Rockaways.” The former is a stripped down piano-based song while the latter sees Bright Eyes member and movie-score composer Nathaniel Walcott adding a touch of keyboard to the bare-bones acoustic guitar track. The two tracks are available on Bandcamp now, with a 7-inch release scheduled for February 1.

Recently, Oberst contributed to the Juliet, Naked soundtrack by writing the song “LAX” for Ethan Hawke to sing. He then recorded an updated version of “LAX” with singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers. In 2016 Oberst released Ruminations, a solo acoustic album, and followed that up the next year with the companion album, Salutations, which saw the songs from Ruminations played as a full-band.

Below, listen to “No One Changes” and “The Rockaways” and watch Oberst’s 2017 KEXP in-studio performance.
