It's hard to believe that Seattle's own Elysian Brewing Company is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year! And they could not be throwing a better party for it, this Saturday, June 11th right here in Seattle Center from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Ming City Rockers are traveling all the way from Immingham, UK to kick off the show with their snarling lo-fi garage-punk. Atlanta, Georgia's Black Lips share that garage-rock aesthetic, adding their own varieties of blues, country and vintage rock ‘n’ roll. Danish duo The Raveonettes always bring an amazing set with their icy Velvet Underground-meets-Jesus and Mary Chain sound. And closing out the night is legendary Seattle band The Gits, formed in 1986, disbanded in 1993 after the tragic murder of vocalist Mia Zapata, and just recently playing shows again after 20 years. Stepping into her shoes tomorrow night will be local powerhouse Rachel Flotard of Visqueen, whose amazing voice will no doubt do Zapata proud. Between sets, KEXP DJs Riz Rollins and Stevie Zoom will be spinning sets, with performances from Apex Aerial Arts, Chaotic Noise Marching Corps, food trucks, and, well, of course, beer! (Ticket price includes two drinks, hence the 21+ age restriction, natch.)

In fact, not only does that ticket price get you a night of amazing music and two beers, but 100% of proceeds from the show are being donated to local charities: The Team Red White and Blue, Bloodworks NW, Bailey-Boushay House, Obliteride, and the Friends of the VA Puget Sound Fisher House. As Elysian say themselves, "Seattle, you have given us so much, we want to give back!"

Tickets are $30 and are available online here. Come raise a toast to this local institution!
