Song Premiere: Pinemen - Predictions

Jim Beckmann

Last month, we introduced you to a new group called Pinemen, whose late 2015 debut EP, Pleasant Pain, offered a much needed dose of jangly surf-rock psychedelia. More than just a taste, our featured Song of the Day, "That Certain Flavor", suggested a wider palate that the young Stockholm band might offer. As you would have guessed, they've expanded their sound on their brand new single, "Predictions". Raw, punchy, and full of fuzz, this lo-fi tune is a bit more of a carefree romp in the sand, steadily picking up the pace until it breaks into a full-throttle freakout. All bets are on "Predictions" to be your feel-good winter jam as you're waiting on summer.

This stand-alone single is officially due to be released tomorrow, February 24, on PNKSLM Recordings, but you can listen to it right now in our exclusive premiere. Look for their full-length debut LP later this year.
