  • Congratulations to Mavis Staples, who just won a Grammy last night for Best American Roots Performance. It's great timing as the legendary blues singer will release Livin' On A High Note, on Friday. This, her fourteenth studio album, features songs written by Justin Vernon, M. Ward, Benjamin Booker, and Neko Case. Today, Staples has shared "Action", which was penned by tUnE-yArDs's Merrill Garbus. Here's what Staples said about her collaborations in a press release: "These songwriters gave me a challenge. They gave me that feeling of, ‘Hey, I can hang! I can still do this!’ There’s a variety, and it makes me feel refreshed and brand new." [Stereogum]

  • Disclosure have shared the V.I.P. remix of "Nocturnal," their collaboration with The Weeknd. They gave "Magnets" their song with Lorde, the same treatment last year. Check it out below. [Pitchfork]

  • At the Grammys last night there were several amazing tributes to the legends we lost this past year. Lady GaGa all in for an energetic medley of David Bowie's greatest hits. Gary Clark Jr, Chris Stapleton, and Bonnie Raitt honored B.B. King by performing the ultimate blues classic "The Thrill is Gone." Watch both tributes below. [Billboard]
