  • James Blake is sly as a fox. While everyone was completely distracted by Kanye West's album drop and fashion nonsense, Blake debuted a gorgeous new song called "Modern Soul" during his BBC Radio 1 show. It's such an incredible song and Blake's effortlessly stunning vocals will blow you away. Seriously. [CoS]

  • Ty Segall and the Muggers were last night's musical guests on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. They performed a creepy rendition of "Candy Sam," complete with white makeup. The terrifying baby graphic from their album cover will give me nightmares for days. Thanks guys. [Pitchfork]

  • Treefort Music Fest just announced the third and final wave of its 2016 lineup a handful of KEXP favorites, including CocoRosie, Yacht, Chairlift, The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, and The Mynabirds, adding to an already solid list including Built to Spill, Thee Oh Sees, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Nosaj Thing, Thundercat, White Denim, Hinds, Porches, Wax Idols, Alex G, San Fermin, Aesop Rock w/ Rob Sonic, and many others. The festival runs March 23rd-27th in downtown Boise. Find out more here.

  • Santigold premiered a new song on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 radio show. It's a wild ride that's aptly titled "Banshee." The track will be featured on her upcoming album 99¢ ( out on February 26). [SPIN]

  • British sister trio The Staves have shared the video for their ethereal If I Was track "Horizons." The video features shots of the sisters at Justin Vernon's Eaux Claires music festival, where they performed last year. Looks like they had a blast. [Stereogum]
