  • Indie rocker Kurt Vile has shared new details about his latest LP, his first release since 2013's amazing Waking on a Pretty Daze. Vile has described the album, which will be titled All Over the Place, as his "darkest album to date" because it's "definitely got that night vibe." [Note: Kurt later stated on his Facebook that the album is still untitled.] He's hoping to drop it later this year. [CoS]

  • Last summer Morrissey had to cancel his US tour because of an untimely "respiratory infection," so let's hope his 2015 venture fairs better. In June, Morrissey will head out across the US with Blondie and Amanda Palmer making appearances at his NYC and San Jose stops. Be sure to catch him at Benaroya Hall on July 21. [Pitchfork]
  • Ryley Walker, fresh off the release of his album Primrose Green, has covered Van Morrison's 1974 track "Fair Play." The cover is a part of the French blog LaBlogotheque's music series Take Away Shows, where artists perform acoustically while bathed in only natural light. [Stereogum]

  • Kuroma's new album, Kuromarama, produced by MGMT's Ben Goldwasser, officially drops on April 7, but today you can stream the entire 10-track collection thanks to Nerdist. Although they don't have any shows coming up in Seattle, the band will be performing nearby in Portland and Vancouver with Tame Impala on May 26 and 27. [Brooklyn Vegan]
