Now the middle day of Airwaves, the streets of Reykjavík are quiet this morning, with thousands of festival-goers still resting up for the weekend ahead. The Kex bar is quiet now, but will shortly be filled with the buzzing energy of fans waiting to see these intimate sets. Guests in one of Kex hostel's dorms already saw their first concert today, having been awoken at 10 AM with a surprise morning performance from the Vaginaboys.

Today features the haunting melodies of Sóley, progressive art-rock from Agent Fresco, atmospheric folk from Low Roar, wild acid-punk jams from Japan's Bo Ningen, and dreamy electro-pop from Vök.

Up first on the broadcast is Icelandic songwriter, pianist, and KEXP favorite Sóley, live at 6 AM PST/9AM EST. Watch it here!
