The legendary Yoko Ono has teamed up The Flaming Lips to release a special 7" single just for the holidays. The single will drops on December 11, and features their cover of John Lennon and Yoko's "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" and "Atlas Eets Christmas." Listen to both tracks below. [Pitchfork]

Grimes, also known as Claire Boucher, released her fourth album, Art Angels, today. This is her first album since 2012's Visions, and during the time between albums, Boucher learned how to play guitar, violin, keys, drums, and ukele so she could record all the instruments herself. Last night marked the debut of HAIM's Beats 1 Radio show "HAIM TIME". To mark the occasion, the sisters challenged each other to "The Battle of the Birth Year," where they chose three tracks from their respective birth years. Danielle's 1989 picks, Madonna's "Like a Prayer" Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" and Pixies' "Debaser," took the crown. Check out the entire broadcast on Apple Music. [CoS]

During a performance in Luxembourg last night, Beach House covered Weezer's 1994 track "Undone - The Sweater Song." They kept their rendition pretty casual and true to the original. Thanks to some fan footage you can check it out. [SPIN]
