  • Danish psych-pop band Mew returned this year with their sixth full-length, +/-, and today they share a fantastical video for the track "Making Friends." Frontman Jonas Bjerre told Under the Radar, "The video is inspired by copper lithographs, imaginary friends, and Italian horror movie posters from the 70's. The backgrounds, although hardly recognizable, are shot in a multitude of places that our travels have taken us in the past year, from Tromsø in Norway, to Incheon in South Korea, to the Mojave Desert in California." • As we mentioned earlier this month, veteran alternarock King and Queen Paul Westerberg and Juliana Hatfeld have teamed up as the I Don’t Cares. Their debut full-length, Wild Stab, will be out in 2016 on Dry Wood Music, but today, you can download the single "King Of America" via iTunes. [Stereogum]

  • Flying home for the holidays? Well, if you happen to be heading out of the Baltimore-Washington International Airport, you'll be one of the lucky thousands to hear the debut of the new Animal Collective album! Mat Baetz, cousin of band member Avey Tare, posted the Instagram message below, which was then "liked" by Tare, who posted his own Instagram reading "YouFoundUs?" in the caption. A BrooklynVegan contributor Shazamed the music playing at the airport, and apparently the album is titled Floridada and will be released on Monday, November 30th. [Consequence of Sound]

  • UK band PINS share a video for the track "Got It Bad," featured on their reverb-heavy sophomore album Wild Nights. The clip, directed by Sarah Jenny Johnson, spotlights the band wandering around their hometown of Manchester. Watch below: [Stereogum]
