Although the title of the band's new album, We All Come From The Same Place, isn't referring to a specific place, geographic location seemed to be on the minds of Allo Darlin' when they stopped by KEXP in October. The Australian/English quartet's songs shimmered with an honed precision, allowing Elizabeth Morris and Paul Rains' voices to harmoniously tell stories that are just as well-traveled as their songwriters. Ahead of two-day trip across Montana, the band talked with John Richards about seeing the world through a tour bus, noting that they usually only see one part of a city at each stop. Similarly, in each of the four songs the band played, there was a snapshot of a romance coming together or a person moving on from nostalgia, each outfitted with their own characteristics and charms. Listen to the band's interpersonal songs and collection of road stories below.
