  • Seattle's own experimental hip hop outfit, Shabazz Palaces take on a dark, post-apocalyptic wasteland in their new "#Cake" video. There's an intense game of chase going on while beautiful, yet terrifying, giants roam the city. Check it out below. [Pitchfork]

  • Last night, James Blake debuted a new song during his weekly turn as a BBC Radio 1 DJ. It's a creepy blend of distorted vocals and jangling instrumentals. According to Blake "only 200 will be pressed" therefore he titled the track "200 press." Clever. You can hear his entire broadcast HERE, the new song starts at the 31:00 mark. [CoS]

The video is set up like a 3-reel slot machine that features Vek donning some serious sunglasses as he sings along and images of him playing a variety of instruments, there's even a random cat thrown in for good measure. • Swedish band Little Dragon is the latest group to take part in Australian radio station Triple J’s Like A Version video series. They put a calming spin on the hard-hitting track "Millionaire" by Kelis and Andre 3000. Watch the video below and don't forget to listen to Little Dragon live on KEXP on Thursday, August 28, at 3PM.
