Tonight at Washington Hall in the Central District, join KEXP DJs Riz and El Toro as they spin music for five hours straight in the Dance Your Cash Off 2014 challenge to help raise money for 826 Seattle!
Hosted by Lindy West, the winners of this dance marathon will be chosen by celebrity judges Christopher Frizzelle, John Roderick, Betsey Brock, Rachel Kessler, David Schmader, and KEXP DJ Sean Nelson. Teams have pre-registered, and they are ready to test their endurance in the name of charity.You don't have to dance to be part of the fun: for just $10, you can attend, drink, and vote for your favorite dancer in the People’s Choice Award. Every penny raised goes to benefit local non-profit 826 Seattle, which teaches young people the important skills needed for creative and expository writing.
The event begins at 6:00 PM tonight, and tickets are available at the door.
