  • You know you're anxious to hear new music from The Shins when you're straining to catch snippets of a song in a Zach Braff film trailer, but that's exactly what we're doing today. A title and release date for the song hasn't been shared yet, but the film is titled Wish I Was Here, and hits theaters on July 18th. Hear the life-changing song below: [Stereogum]

  • Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi shares a soundtrack song today, too — stream the track "Where No One Goes" below, from the forthcoming motion picture soundtrack to How to Train Your Dragon 2, out June 10th via Relativity. [Pitchfork]

  • Earlier this year, we announced that shoegaze legends Slowdive would be reuniting for the 14th annual Primavera Sound Festival. Last night, the band hit the stage for the first time in 20 years in a surprise, un-billed performance in London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of label Sonic Cathedral.
