Hey! Whatever you're looking for, don't miss Petty Fest, Wednesday, April 9th at the Showbox at the Market, a night to celebrate the music of Tom Petty and support musicians in need through Sweet Relief.

Petty Fest is the latest incarnation of Best Fest, which started as a celebration of Bob Dylan's 60th birthday in New York City at a Lower East Side bar. The all-star charity shows now take place across the globe. In addition to the Seattle show, Petty Fest will take place in Chicago and L.A. Rolling Stone has called Best Fest shows "an experience that is equal parts concert and celebration". The Seattle show features heartbreaker Alison Mosshart (The Kills, The Dead Weather), Albert Hammond Jr. (The Strokes) and local lovelies Noah Gundersen, John Van Deusen of The Lonely Forest, and Matt Bishop of Hey Marseilles, among many others. You can also expect "many more big surprises".

Best of all, 100 percent of door proceeds go to benefit Sweet Relief, which provides assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. Tickets are on sale now.
