  • Texas indie band Shearwater have been dabbling in the world of covers for a while now. They released an all covers collection called Fellow Travelers late last year, and it seems their letting this trend continue. The band's newest cover is Nina Simone's melancholy "Black is the Color." [Stereogum]

  • After a whirlwind awards season, Lorde has returned to her native New Zealand and appeared on Australia's radio station Triple J. While there, she delivered a soulful cover of James Blake's "Retrograde." As always, her creepy hand choreography is on point. [Stereogum]

  • Australian rapper Iggy Azalea will release her sophomore album, The New Classic, later this year. For the album's first single, "Fancy," Azalea has teamed up with British new wave artist Charli XCX. These in-your-face ladies definitely make a powerful duo. "Fancy" will officially drop on April 6. • Lily Allen has shared her whimsical video for her playful new track "Air Balloon." I certainly wouldn't mind escaping to Allen's magical world of zero responsibly, zebras, and cuddly cheetahs. [CoS]
