Bob Casale, founding member and guitarist of Devo, has died at age 61 from "conditions that lead to heart failure." In 1972, Bob and his brother Gerald created one of the most famous bands of the New Wave era. Gerald said, "As an original member of Devo, Bob Casale was there in the trenches with me from the beginning." It's never easy when the music industry loses one of its artists. In case you forgot, Weezer has taken their talents to the high seas on their own Weezer Cruise. The band set out on their second voyage last week, along with supporting bands Toro Y Moi, DIIV, and Cat Power. Passengers were treated to a brand new song called "Back to the Shack," their first track in three years. Check it out below. [CoS]

St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark, will drop her fourth studio album, aptly titled St. Vincent, next Tuesday. For those of you who can't wait another minute, the album is available to stream via NPR.
